He suggested that new weapons systems, which the Russian Federation has not yet used in Ukraine, could be deployed in response. "We understand that the United States may retaliate, and then our response will be inevitable," Volodin continued. "This is what we call escalation."

Reflecting on the outgoing President Biden's age, Volodin added, "Like any person, we are all mortal, and one day Biden will pass away. But it seems he is determined to drag America—and perhaps the entire world—with him in this destructive path."

Regarding the potential use of the new weapons systems, Volodin noted that they are already in use. "Their expanded use may cause harm, but it will not change the course of the battle. It will only worsen the future of Ukraine and further damage Russian-American relations.
