According to Russian reports, another scandal around Krasnohorivka is developing in the Ukrainian media space.

The process with the military prosecutor’s office’s inspections of the command of the 59th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on reports of the issuance of criminal orders leading to large losses had not yet ended when a video message appeared in defense of the commander of the 80th air assault brigade, who had recently been urgently abandoned and removed from his post.

Based on rumors spread by Ukrainian Telegram channels, the reason for the resignation of the brigade commander is the refusal to carry out an obviously impossible order. Considering the direction in which the brigade found itself and the deplorable operational situation for the enemy, Russia believes it is most likely that the impossible order consisted of an attempt to counterattack the Russian units near Krasnogorovka.

On the other hand, reports show that the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces opposed the removal of its commander Emil Ishkulov.

A video was published online in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine addressed Zelensky, demanding not to fire the brigade commander.

Earlier there was information that the brigade refused to carry out the “meat grinder order” in the Krasnogorovka area. Previously, the battalion was stationed near Bakhmut.

The State Duma may, before the end of the session, consider an amendment to increase the period of military service for new Russian citizens to two years, the press service of the lower house reported.
